    I got into smoking about 15 years ago...owned everything, electric, charcoal and pellet related. I was intrigued with the function and design of this cooker from the word go but didn't know anyone whi had one. Tried it out this past weekend with a smaller brisket (marinated per the directions with a couple tweeks). Stayed true to the suggested time per pound and used hickory chips between the drip pan and exterior. Honestly, I was shocked with the end result. Juicy, tender, perfectly smoked brisket...no easy feat for anyone, hence all the instructions on low and slow, spraying/basting, etc. I realize it's a touchy subject with diehard smokers calling this a smoker. It's a cooker, yes but the smoking ability is there and able. I havent yet experienced any warping or ill-fits as some have mentioned. I was so impressed, I ordered the bullet smoker a few days ago and I can't wait to review that one. We'll done, Orion. Sold for life.

    12 or 13 years ago…after cooking a Turkey for Thanksgiving, My mother in law appointed me as The Turkey Cooker for all family gatherings. The Orion makes me look like a genius! lol.. I had to retire my original cooker and just purchased my 2nd one! Thanks for a great cooker! Mark
